Just made Cream of Mushroom soup - my first real "cream" soup. It was quite easy... a few veggies, some butter made into a roux, add some stock, heat... strain... and add a little hot milk and spices (I used white pepper and salt) and...Voila!
It does taste pretty good. Makes me feel a little better after my foray into baking... they say that cooking is an art, and baking is a science... I say there's a method to that madness... :)
