Sa-shay de who?

I used a "Sachet d'epice" (see the Vocab list on the right for what it means :) in the White Beans, Bretonne Style - but didn't have a cheesecloth bag. Missed that on the grocery list yesterday. The recipe DID work.. I did pull out the bay leaf, though. (don't think that would taste good).

Did it make a difference? I don't know.. haven't made it both ways (w/ and w/o the bag) - however, I think I'll try to find some cheesecloth for my next adventures in that arena. Any ideas where I would find it?
