Bruschetta - a little on the top!

So, on Sunday, I had a reception for local students that have been accepted to my alma mater (I'm a Ramblin' Wreck...). I thought I'd try the Tomato Basil Bruschetta for an appetizer that was easy to eat in one bite.

This appetizer was really easy to make. I cut French bread into small slice (about an inch) and then toasted them for about 5-7. Here's the interesting kick - slice some garlic cloves in half and rub both the top and bottom of the toasted bread.

I chopped some tomatoes and sprinkled some basil over the mixture. I put the mixture over each of the toasted bread and drizzled some extra virgin olive oil. Presto!
