Ok.. time to get started. So... legumes. Basically, beans. I was supposed to used dried cranberry beans, but couldn't find those at the grocery store, so used the substitution - kidney beans.
Oops... already made the first mistake. I read the first instruction (soak beans overnight in cold water). Well.. I bought a can of kidney beans. Already soaked. Guess they are good and moist now... excellent.
Ok... so far so good. Although, I am a poster child for all things great and small in the kitchen - meaning nothing is too good for my little experiment! I'm using everything from Pampered Chef knives to dinner plates to Glad Sandwich plastic ware. Hey - if it holds or measures it, it's good for me!
